The one-liner
About MobileyMe
MobileyMe is a consumer technology company building the virtual phone: a cloud-based service that keeps your real phone number, contacts, and messages off any single device, so a lost, stolen, broken, or dead phone no longer means losing how people reach you. Sign in on any iPhone, Android device, or browser and your calls go out from your real number, with your contacts and messages there. Log out, and nothing stays behind. The company is based in Orlando, Florida, led by CEO Mahira "Myra" Durrani, and its app is live on the App Store and Google Play.
What's new in 4.1
Until this release, MobileyMe only worked outward: you could reach people from any device, with calls showing your real number, but nothing could reach you back. Version 4.1 closes that loop. A call to your number now rings whichever signed-in device you're using, built on real VoIP push and CallKit integration rather than a notification. Replies to your texts land back in the app instead of disappearing. You can block a number for both calls and texts. A new Safety Net screen shows what protection is actually verified and active, and turns on carrier call forwarding in one tap, closing the gap that has quietly kept voicemail and inbound calls broken for most users since launch. Full dark mode is included as well.
The patents
MobileyMe's identity-continuity approach is protected by a granted patent family covering outbound calling and texting from a real primary number on a secondary device, contact sync independent of the original phone, and ending all access on sign-out:
